Conservation Stewardship Award

Sussex Conservation District (SCD) launched the inaugural Conservation Stewardship Award in 2022. This award recognizes organizations in various categories that have exceeded Delaware Sediment and Stormwater Regulations to prepare, protect and preserve sensitive natural resources in the county.

SCD, through its recognition and appreciation of these organizations, hopes to catalyze future voluntary conservation and encourage residents to choose conservation-focused organizations.
